Qualified demand.
Real partners.

Receive trip requests that match what you actually do, answer B2B opportunities from other verified companies, and build a public reputation that compounds.

Quick answer

What does EuropeanTravelCompanies do for a travel business?

ETC gives travel companies three things: qualified inbound trip requests matched to the destinations and services they actually cover, a B2B marketplace where they can find or offer partnerships with other verified companies, and a public profile that ranks in category, country and city searches. Every listed company is verified before it appears, leads are capped at 8 companies per request so quoting stays worth the effort, and pricing runs from a free tier to €399/month plus commission on completed bookings.

What you get

Leads, not impressions

Every lead is a person with a destination, dates, a party size and usually a budget. No cold lists.

A real B2B layer

Post what you are looking for — a DMC in Turkey, hotels in Barcelona — and get proposals from verified companies.

Verification that is worth something

Because we reject listings, the badge means something to travellers. Reputation you cannot buy.

Found in search

Your profile sits inside category, country and city pages built to rank — and to be cited by AI search.

Numbers you can act on

Response time, offer-to-booking rate, profile views and where your leads come from.

Creator campaigns

Brief travel creators with verified audience data and pay for content that actually performs.

How ranking actually works

We publish the ranking model because a marketplace where nobody knows why they are losing is a marketplace people leave. Your position in directory listings and your share of matched leads come from six weighted signals:

  • Relevance (30%) — how closely your categories, destinations and services fit the request.
  • Quality (20%) — rating, review volume and verification level.
  • Responsiveness (20%) — how often and how fast you answer.
  • Conversion (15%) — your historic offer-to-booking rate.
  • Freshness (10%) — how current your profile and packages are.
  • Fairness (5%) — a deliberate boost for companies that have received few leads recently.

That last term is not charity, it is maintenance. A marketplace where the top ten companies absorb every lead loses its supply diversity within a year, and then loses the travellers who came for choice. Sponsored placements exist, but they are always labelled Sponsored and never silently reorder organic results.

What a strong profile has

  • Only the destinations you genuinely operate in
  • Services listed individually, not as one paragraph
  • Working languages and target markets
  • At least 8 real photographs, not stock
  • Two or three packages with real prices
  • Licence and certification documents uploaded
  • A response time you can actually sustain

Frequently asked questions

How does matching decide who receives a trip request?
Matching runs in two stages. First, hard filters: does the company operate in that destination, cover the requested services, work in a suitable language, and is the account active and verified. Then a weighted score combining relevance, quality (rating, review volume, verification level), responsiveness, past conversion, profile freshness — and a deliberate fairness term that favours companies which have received few leads recently. A request goes to at most 8 companies.
Why cap it at 8 companies?
Because uncapped distribution destroys both sides of the marketplace. Travellers drown in near-identical quotes and stop replying; companies spend hours quoting work they had a one-in-forty chance of winning and stop bothering. A cap keeps the response rate high enough that quoting is worth your time.
What does it cost?
There is a free tier with a basic profile and a small monthly lead quota. Paid tiers (Verified, Premium, Elite) add a larger quota, the verification badge, featured placement, deeper analytics and campaign tools. Bookings completed through the platform carry a commission; leads you answer outside the booking flow do not.
How quickly do I need to respond?
Faster than you think. First-mover advantage is real: the first three offers on a request receive the overwhelming majority of traveller replies. Median first response across the platform is under six hours, and your own median is shown on your public profile — so it is both a ranking input and a trust signal.
Can travellers contact me directly, outside the platform?
Contact details are exchanged once a conversation is under way. We do not pretend to police what happens afterwards; what we do is make staying in-platform genuinely better — structured offers, comparison, verified reviews that build your public reputation, and a booking record that feeds your ranking.
What kind of companies can list?
DMCs, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, villa and bungalow rentals, licensed guides, experience providers, wellness and retreat operators, photographers and videographers, transfer and yacht charter companies, and MICE agencies. The common requirement is a real, verifiable business.
Do I need to be based in Europe?
You need to operate in Europe. A DMC headquartered outside Europe that runs ground services in Greece is welcome; a company with no operational presence in the destinations it lists is not.
